- Eligibility: A valid Saskatchewan learner’s license is required to participate. You must be at least 16 years old to enroll in the SGI 6 & 6 driving course or the 6-hour online class.
- Language Requirement: Instruction is provided in English. If you need assistance in another language, please call us at 306-660-9555 prior to registering.
- Payment and Refunds: All fees must be paid in full before starting any training, whether it’s the 6 & 6 course, the 6-hour online class, or in-car lessons. For the SGI 6 & 6 course, a refund requested before the course starts will incur an $80 deduction. No refunds are available once lessons have begun. For the 6-hour online class alone, a nominal fee of $20 will be deducted from any refund.
- Missed Sessions: If you miss an online class, you must make it up by attending a future 6-hour online session. We will provide you with the schedule of upcoming classes. There is no charge for rescheduling missed sessions.
In-Car Lessons
- Location: Lessons are conducted in Regina or Moose Jaw. If you reside outside these areas, you may be required to travel to one of these locations.
- Daily Instruction Limit: A maximum of 2 hours of in-car driving lessons are available per day, in accordance with SGI policy.
- Scheduling: Your in-car lessons will be scheduled based on the instructor’s availability, especially if you opt for 6 hours of instruction.
- Complimentary Transportation: We provide free pickup and drop-off services for all in-car lessons.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations or rescheduling of in-car lessons must be made at least 48 hours in advance. A late cancellation fee of $80 applies if notice is given less than 48 hours before the lesson. A no-show fee of $80 will be charged if you fail to attend without notice. Missed in-car lessons will not be rescheduled until any outstanding fees are paid.
- Identification and Conduct: Always bring your Saskatchewan Learner’s License (or your Sask ID if using an international license) to in-car sessions. Refrain from wearing strong perfumes, as some instructors may be allergic. Only authorized passengers may accompany you in the car during lessons.
